Breakaway Couplings – Weak Link, The Key to Safety
Breakaway couplings that reduce the risk of spills.
Environmental factors such as ice and low water can make it difficult or impossible for tankers to dock in the usual manner. Our Near-Shore Tanker (un-loading) system can accommodate or provide the following:
- Flexible hoses ranging from 50 to 500 meters in length.
- No jetty.
- A tanker moored at sea.
- A lightweight system that can easily be moved and stored away safely when not in operation.
Small Scale River Terminal:
Riverside docking can present many complexities, such as tides that affect the stability of mooring and small jettys that require the use of a small footprint and lightweight systems. DockReel helps companies overcome these challenges with:
- Lightweight and versatile systems.
- Reduced footprint considerations.
- Flexible hose lengths that accommodate the movement of the tanker, allowing for safe marine loading operations.
Multi-Purpose Cargo Dockside:
DockReel is a cost-effective and efficient alternative to conventional marine loading arms. The solution helps eliminate obstructions on busy docksides while facilitating multiple loading and unloading processes. The SafeRack engineering team can design and install custom solutions to suit your operational requirements.
- Flexible hose lengths tailored to your operational requirements.
- No dockside obstructions enabling multiple loading and unloading operations.
- A custom marine loading arm alternative that minimizes your footprint.
Tanker Loading:
For operations that require a fixed marine tanker loading and/or tanker unloading system, DockReel offers unmatched flexibility and efficiency through features and capabilities such as:
- Flexible hoses.
- Hose auto-wind facility.
- Custom and multi-reel configurations.
- Simultaneous safe product loading.
FLUID TRANSFER SYSTEMS:
Provides safe and efficient marine loading and offloading operations in various offshore and onshore applications. These systems typically utilize flexible pipes to transfer crude oil or other media in dynamic applications. The systems include a means for storage, deployment, and recovery of the flexible pipe while incorporating power, control, and utility equipment.
Various onshore and offshore hose reels, chutes, or outboard platform stations are available. They can be specifically configured and designed to suit individual applications and installations worldwide. Tandem mooring, handling, and storage systems complement our best-in-class Fluid Transfer Systems.
HOSE HANDLING STATIONS
Provides safe operation and storage of bulk loading hoses used for fluid or powder transfer operations. We offer single, double, or multi-reel stations that are specifically configured and designed to suit individual applications and installations worldwide.
Hose assemblies, connectors, and reel pipe work materials are individually selected by our experienced team for compatibility with your project specifications.
The stations are supplied with self-contained hydraulic power and control units. Optional pneumatic or electric drive and control systems are available.
